Each student should bring their own instrument and a pencil

Playing a brass instrument can be difficult and sometimes frustrating. It is a challenge to know what to practice, how much of it to practice, and when to practice it. Even then you may ask: “Is all this work even helping?” If you have asked yourself these questions, this course is a good fit for you. Students will work to improve essential fundamentals such as flexibility, articulation, endurance, and sound development. We will cover how to develop a regular routine to address fundamentals, assist with maintaining them and improve your playing overall. If easier and more enjoyable performance on a brass instrument is something that interests you, then this course is perfect for you!
