Join us for an intimate evening with Andrew Lipke, as he shares the songs and stories that have defined his extraordinary journey — from South Africa to Philadelphia and beyond. With his piano and guitar, Lipke invites you into a heartfelt celebration of his artistry and the unifying power of music.
An Emmy-nominated composer, conductor, singer, and songwriter, Lipke is no stranger to the Stiefel stage. Audiences have seen him perform here with Get the Led Out and alongside members of the Salina Symphony String Quartet. This season, we’re thrilled to announce that the Salina Symphony has invited him to conduct their Christmas Festival on December 13 & 14!
Partially sponsored by Get the Led Out, who have graced the Stiefel stage many times, Lipke returns to perform a mix of original songs and powerful interpretations of favorites by Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, John Denver, The Beatles, The Platters, Peter Cetera, Jeff Buckley, and more. Expect surprises—he’ll even take audience requests and answer questions live! Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience the warmth, wit, and brilliance of Andrew Lipke up close.
A multifaceted artist, Lipke’s recent projects include conducting and performing with The Chicago Philharmonic, The New World Symphony in Miami, and the Gabriel Chamber Ensemble, where he presents the second performance of his acclaimed oratorio The Plague. He also orchestrates and conducts for Amos Lee’s symphonic performances nationwide and recently toured with legendary musicians Thomas Dolby and Gail Ann Dorsey, collaborating with Dolby on an innovative symphonic reimagining of 1980s classics.
